Keyboard Use

The game control can be carried out with the help of the keyboard.

Start a New Game

press one of keys:
F2 - game by white chessmen or
F3 - game by black chessmen

Make a Move

Note. The key Spacebar operates the cursor on the board. Pressing the button will show the cursor on the screen, if it unseen, and vice versa, if the cursor is seen on the board, press the button to hide it.

Take Back Move

Replay Move

Note. The key Tab operates the position of focus for acceptance of commands from the keyboard. With its help it is fashionable to select buttons or a board for control. Thus pressing Tab moves focus in the direct direction, and Shift+Tab in the opposite direction.

Note. To choose a command from the menu you should use standard shortcuts of Microsoft Windows submitted below.

Some standard combinations of Microsoft Windows keys

F10 Activate the menu bar in the active program.
Alt+LETTER Display the corresponding menu with underlining letter
RIGHT ARROW Open the next menu on the right, or open the submenu.
LEFT ARROW Open the next menu on the left, or close the submenu.
DOWN ARROW Open the submenu or choose the next submenu
UP ARROW Choose the previous submenu
LETTER Select a command of the menu with underlining the letter
Alt+опнаек Display the System menu for the active window.
Alt+F4 Close the active item, or quit the active program.
Alt+Tab Switch between open items (programs or windows)
Dialog box keyboard shorcuts
Ctrl+Tab Move forward through tabs.
Ctrl+Shift+Tab Move backward through tabs.
Tab Move forward through options.
Shift+Tab Move backward through options.
Enter Carry out the command for the active option or button.
SPACEBAR Select or clear the check box if the active option is a check box.
Arrow keys Select a button if the active option is a group of option buttons.
