Scoring
Choosing the best move the program considers variants of moves and estimates received positions. It uses the scoring function for estimation. There is an opportunity to try some parameters of the scoring function, different for a opening, middle-game and end-game.
Note. Having made some experiments probably it will be necessary to restore standard parameters for estimation as it is described below.
Change parameters of scoring function
- In the menu Options choose the command Scoring....
- Choose one of tabs Opening, Middle-game or End-game.
- Choose an element which needs to be changed.
- Change its using flag, weight and a sign.
- Using. The box must be checked to use a parameter.
- V. The maximal value - is shown for the information, it does not change.
- k. The weight or operating ratio, is a degree of number 2..
- + or -. + it is the positive factor and - negative
Set default scoring parameters
- In the menu Options choose the command Scoring....
- Choose one of tabs Opening, Middle-game or End-game.
- Press the button Set defaults.
Note. The command Set defaults is given separately for each stage of the game - Opening, Middle-game and End-game.
